Plug-in Not Showing Up In DAW. Why isn’t my Antares plug-in showing up in my DAW? Logic Pro X; GarageBand 10; Ableton Live 9 (Mac) Ableton Live 9 (Windows) Sonar Platinum; Studio One 3 (Mac) Studio One 3 (Windows). Well I bought Ableton yesterday. I've not tried to make any music yet, but I've been playing around with the interface and just trying to get to grips with the app.I wanted to use a pitch adjuster, like Auto-tune and I found G-Snap. G-Snap is very similar to AutoTune by Antares, but free. GSnap can be used to fine tune vocals, or can be used to achieve what has now become known as the Cher Effect or the Kanye West effect.
I got GSnap working on Fixed Mode, but I couldn't figure out how to get it to take use a midi input to work on the clip.
After much searching and little help, I figured it out for myself. Here's a screen grab that may help others:
Note, the track A GSnap is a return track (right click, insert return track).
Midi is routed to the A GSnap return track. The Audio is routed to 'Sends only'. This is routed to the A GSnap track by turning up the Sends A.
Note, the GSnap plugin is applied to the A GSnap return track, no on the Midi or the Audio.
Set the GSnap to Midi mode. I also set the threshold high too.
Lots going on here. Took me ages to figure. I hope this helps someone.
